"Real beauty comes from within, not from a great haircut- that's just icing on the cake."

They told me I could be anything I wanted...I wanted to make people feel beautiful, so I became a hairstylist.

Welcome to my life, friends!

My goal is to make you feel confident and keep your life as simple as possible, while making you feel your absolute best by working with your natural beauty. I want you to have time to do what matters in your life. As a salon owner, full time stylist, athlete, step mom and wife, I know how important (let's be real, VITAL) feeling relaxed and beautiful is, so I've designed my private suite experience in a way that will leave you feeing uplifted, comfortable, relaxed, and confident, with all the details down to a fridge full of great drinks including beer and wine, snacks, and a custom playlist curated just for you.

I have dreamed of having a career as a stylist since elementary school; after obtaining my license at 18 in 2008, the pressure was on for the next goal... my own salon. For 7 years I consciously worked at places where I could learn from the owners. Then on the weekend of my 25th birthday, I found THE building after searching for months. I visited that evening, fell instantly in love with the space, and signed papers four days later. Now ten other artists, including a nail tech and 2 eyelash techs and I proudly serve the Tulsa and surrounding areas.

I truly love people and that's why this career suites me so well. I have creative vision, I'm 100% committed to mastering my talents, continuing to educate myself on the latest trends and techniques, but my true happiness comes from the meaningful relationships I've formed and important conversations that happen every day in my chair. It actually wasn't until our Covid shutdown that it solidified doing hair wasn't the part I loved the most. It has always the people. I don't take lightly the opportunity to be part of so many lives each day; to meet so many interesting people, laugh, learn, and grow constantly. I get to share in your stories, frustrations, tears, break ups and losses, but also get to be a part of huge milestones.. weddings, birthdays, new homes, promotions, babies, and ALL the many celebrations in between. I've laughed so hard with you we couldn't breath, we've sat through your terribly boring muted conference calls, and had late night drinks after longs days and weeks for both of us. I don't take for granted a single day in this amazing career or the opportunity to transform the way people feel about their lives and themselves.

One thing my clients love is that I coach on products knowledge and why different hair types need certain products. I love teaching on maintenance, styling techniques and tricks, the "curly girl method", and tips for training hair to not have to be washed every day; making a real difference in this industry by teaching and coaching is so rewarding. Clients also love that no mattter how busy I get, they can always get in within a week or two. That is because I don't prebook clients. If I did this, I would be booked out for months and wouldn't be able to fit any new clients in. Just text me when you need in, and we'll make it happen!

I have been married to Bruce for 10 years, together for 15. The secret to relationships has GOT to be laughter. We are always goofing off, laughing at ourselves or each other, or making those around us laugh. My life is never boring with him around. He was a store manager with QuikTrip for 10 years, and now is working in Project Management at the Corporate office. My stepson Darin has been in the Navy for 8 years and is a Petty Officer First Class. He's a Navigation Specialist in submarines and is absolutely thriving in Cape Canaveral, Florida where he recently bought his first home.

I'm (not so secretly) a total cycling addict. Have you seen the tan lines im my photos yet? Two days a week I leave work early and spend my weekends channeling my inner Lance Armstrong riding my road bike 125-175 miles per week. We now build our annual vacations and weekend trips around the best places to ride our bikes. We're fortunate to have found a way to exercise, spend time together, and hang with what are now our best friends, all at the same time.

I have spent over 18 years in this industry working incredibly hard to balance my career, health, relationships, and time, and I believe a huge part of achieving that is having a low maintenance lifestyle and morning routine. I want to be able to give that to anyone else wanting the same. I believe all people should spend their time with people they love doing things they enjoy.
